As Windy City Times' newsletter editor, I was among the team that launched Chicago Social Butterflies, a weekly LGBTQ+ events newsletter and calendar.
In its first seven months, we grew the newsletter to more than 5,000 subscribers, maintaining an average open rate over 50%.

Proud City
Block Club Chicago
While working at Block Club Chicago in 2023, I led the creation of Proud City, an LGBTQ+ news vertical with resources for the community. We launched during Pride Month with a series of five newsletters filled to the brim with LGBTQ+ news stories and features.
